I’ve never been good at keeping plants alive. The few that I’ve attempted to raise invariably whither away due to neglect and lack of water. I’ve been better with cats, probably because they come and meow at me when they’re hungry.

The Roly-Poly Pot is kind of like a plant that meows at you when it’s thirsty.

Due to some clever design and engineering by designer Samgmin Bae, the Roly-Poly Pot tips over to the side when it gets thirsty. It has a reservoir in the bottom that is offset with weight so that when the water is used up by the plant the weight rolls the pot down to the side.

It’s only a concept design now, but I can easily see this thing taking off and filling up the shelves at your local Megalo Mart.
