Wants For Sale is a very cool site run by two NYC illustrators (and couple) Christine and Justin. They’re selling paintings of things they want for the retail price of the item and then using the proceeds to buy it- buy their painting of an iPhone for $432.42 and they go out and get one for real.

The low end of their collection includes buffalo wings ($12.70), a good nights sleep (free), and scales up through a Wii ($270.92), One Month’s Rent ($1,056.07), and Financial Security ($1,000,000). They’ve sold an impressive number of paintings so far, netting them the aforementioned Wii, a new hair ‘do ($95.00), and Madden ‘08 ($65.01)
