A Greek Orthodox Nunnery unwittingly turned into a marijuana plantation after some kindly, old nuns accepted some assistance from two men posing as gardeners. The clever scheme — which has now probably ruined the fun for the rest of us involved in similar nunnery projects worldwide — resulted in 30 large cannabis plants enclosed in the garden. “The nuns did not know what they were and assumed they were large decorative plants,” he said.

Indeed, they are quite pretty. Police, however, thought different after acting on a tip and raiding the nunnery in the village of Filiro. Is there nothing sacred?
